Warm up with joint mobility, dynamic movement, and foam roller.  Today we are going to hit a 5 exercise circuit that will test your muscle and cardio endurance.  You can perform this training session with body weight, kettlebells, dumbbells, or a 45 pound bar.  This will be a full body session.  Remember focus on quality reps.. You are going to be fatigued by the end.

5 rounds

20 push ups or chest press
20 chest to bar or bent over row
20 shoulder press or jump pull ups
20 squats
20 good mornings

Finish up with 5-6 minutes or ab and lower back work.

Warm up with joint mobility and dynamic movement.  Today we are going to do an old stand by called Love/Hate.  You simply pick 5 exercises that you "love" (or don't mind doing) and 5 exercises that you despise or "hate".  Throw them both together and you have a great workout.  I am going to let the group pick out some of their favorites and least favorites tonight.  So think about it and be prepared to share yours with the group.
We usually break it down into reps and sets
So 10 exercises 30 reps per exercise = 300 reps
Or until El D says we are finished..

Warm up today with joint mobility and dynamic movement.  Circuit day today. We are going to get that heart pumping with 12.5 minute rounds.  Pick 5 exercises and set up 5 stations.  Max reps in 25 seconds per station.  25 sets gets you through each exercise 5 times in the 12.5 time allotment.  So it is a balls to the wall sprint.  Get after it.

25 seconds on 5 seconds off for 25 sets.

Warmup with joint mobility, dynamic movement, and foam roller.  Today we are going to do an "EMOTM" (Every Minute On The Minute) Crossfit protocol FIST Style.  The buzzer goes off, you perform the exercises, and then rest.. Until the buzzer goes again. So the quicker you get finished with your set the more rest you get.  Do not sacrifice form for speed... That's how injuries occur.

Warmup with joint mobility, dynamic movement, and foam roller.  Today we are going to have a bit of fun training.  Everyone enjoys the grab bag circuit.  Its very simple put 10-20 different exercises down on paper, and throw them into a bag.  Pick out 5-10 and you have your circuit.  You can do it for reps or for time.  Make sure that you are equitable between your strengths and weaknesses.  Always put several movements in there that you struggle with mentally and physically. So for sure there will be OH squats in mine... Have some fun and have a great training session.

Warm up with joint mobility and dynamic movement. Today we are going to do a workout from our friends across the pond in Ireland.  Tramore Kettlebell Fitness has laid down the 100 reps in a 100 seconds challenge..  Simply take the bar and put 10 pound plates on each side.  So 65 pounds or roughly 30 total Kgs as they suggested.  Give it a try.

We will do multiple rounds, so bring a towel...

Warmup with joint mobility, dynamic movement, and foam roller.   Today we are going to hit a ladder circuit with a short run.  Road work is not one my favorite things to do, so breaking it up with some kettlebell and bodyweight movements makes it a bit more palpable.  8 rounds today..

Warm up with joint mobility and dynamic movement.  Strength day today. One movement. Longer rest, short reps, heavier weight. Warm up that posterior chain well, dead lifts today as well as the rest of your body.  The dead lift is an exercise that you perform daily probably without even realizing it.

10 sets of 3
70% of your max (for example if your max is 100 pounds workout with 70 pounds for 10 sets of 3)
5 burpees after each set
2 minutes rest in between sets

So begin with joint mobility, dynamic movement and foam roller.  25 seconds of work 5 seconds to move to the next station for 4 rounds.  Pick 5 exercises and do 3 sets.  These types of circuit training sessions really mimic "game/match like" conditions.  Go hard for the 25 seconds.  Push yourself..

Warm up with joint mobility and dynamic movement.  Today is a simple workout.  Just one exercise, done for time.  Turkish get ups.  TGUs area great full body progression.  As you can see from the photos below, your entire body is working to get from your back to a standing position as well as when you return to the floor.  This is truly taxing workout.  Set the clock for 15 minutes and hit it..  Follow that up with a one mile run, and then call it a day..

Meat grinder today.  3 sets of non-stop kettlebell movements.  This is a full body strength and conditioning go.  Make sure that as you get fatigued, you focus on keeping your form.  Breakdown in form leads to bad habits and injuries.

Warm up with joint mobility and dynamic movement.  Today we are going to just do 2 movements.  Simple but effective.  The kettlebell swing is the first thing you learn when you begin with kettlebells.  It is a great posterior chain and cardiovascular exercise.  The other movement is going to be is kettlebell jerks.  Basic, but a full body go.  Two simple exercsies.. up and down the ladder.

Hitting the dungeon today for a heavy bag and calisthenic training session.  If you don't have access to a heavy bag, grab two small dumbbells, or even to cans of soup to use as resistance and shadow box.  Believe me, it'll be harder than you think.

Warm up with joint mobility and dynamic movement.  Put on your running shoes today.  Make sure your warm up have a good sweat going.  Shouldn't be too hard today.. ;-)  Today we are going to be running 1/4 mile intervals and then incorporating some simple body weight exercises after each 1/4.  If you have access to a HS track, 400m is one lap around the track.  Otherwise, hit the streets.

4 rounds

Run 1/4 or 400m (Hard) = 1 mile
25 push ups = 100 reps
25 sit ups = 100 reps
50 squats = 200 reps
